Libya Entry Requirements

You can find information below containing the minimum qualifications you will require. This varies depending on whether you want to study an undergraduate or postgraduate degree. Entry requirements do also vary for each course, but the information here will give you a general guide.

As well as your academic qualifications we will also consider your personal statement and references. If you are studying A Levels or the International Baccalaureate, you can find these entry requirements on the course pages in our Online Prospectus.

Libya Entry Requirements

Qualification: Secondary School Certificate

Grade: Minimum 60% (may need specific subjects for some courses)

English language requirements: IELTS (UKVI) 4.5 overall  (no skill below 4.5)

Qualification: Secondary School Certificate plus 1 year of Foundation Program or minimum 1 year study at University level

Grade: Minimum 60%

English language requirements: IELTS 6.0 (NSB 5.5) for most courses

Qualification: Vocational Higher Diploma/Degree (minimum 3/4years) plus minimum 5 years’ work experience in relevant field

Grade: Minimum 2.5 GPA

English language requirements:  IELTS 6.0 (NSB 5.5) for most courses or equivalent

 

Or

 

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (minimum 4 years)

Grade: Minimum 2.5 GPA /  65% for 2:2  or 3.0 GPA / 75% for 2:1
