Mauritius Entry Requirements

You can find information below containing the minimum qualifications you will require. This varies depending on whether you want to study an undergraduate or postgraduate degree. Entry requirements do also vary for each course, but the information here will give you a general guide.

As well as your academic qualifications we will also consider your personal statement and references. If you are studying A Levels or the International Baccalaureate, you can find these entry requirements on the course pages in our Online Prospectus.

Mauritius Entry Requirements

Qualification: Cambridge Higher School Certificate or French Baccalaureate (Baccalauréat Générale)

Grade: See undergraduate entry requirements below 

English language requirements: IELTS 4.5 with no skill below 4.5, or equivalent

Qualification: Cambridge Higher School Certificate

Grade: Grades to match UK A-Level requirements in our Online Prospectus

OR

Qualification: French Baccalaureate (Baccalauréat Générale)

Grade: 14 for courses with 120 tariff points or 15 for courses with higher than 120 tariff points

 

English language requirements: IELTS 6.0 with no skill below 5.5, or equivalent or Mauritius/Cambridge GCE O Level English Language – syllabus 1125/1126 - English grade C or above

Qualification: Bachelor degree

Grade: Minimum of 50 CPA
