Student athletes can benefit from career-focused courses alongside professional-level coaching using cutting-edge facilities.

Leeds Beckett facilities are used by a number of professional athletes across several sports. Training on our purpose-built, fully flood-lit, rubber crumb 3G pitch and having access to our newly built strength and conditioning suite, you’ll be using the best facilities to maximise your potential.

  1. Your coaching team

    The programme is delivered by highly experienced coaches, who have played and coached at Premier league clubs and have experience in not only maximising student athletes potential in soccer, but also have experience supporting the students pursue a range of careers within the sports industry.

  2. What is a typical week like at the Academy?

    Student athletes train five days a week with UEFA PRO and A licensed coaches. All accommodation, lectures and training facilities are found on Headingley campus and both training and lectures are taken into account when planning the course timetable.

  3. Will there be matches?

    As part of the training programme, student athletes have the opportunity to compete in the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) leagues as well as playing for i2i's own U21 and U23 league teams.
