We’re here to support you throughout your time at Leeds Beckett and have dedicated teams providing you with a range of help and advice.
Our Student Advice Team is here to help you find the service you need. This could include financial advice, disability support, accommodation, immigration and careers. If you’re unsure on where to find help, our Student Advice Team will point you in the right direction.

Our Student Immigration Advice and Compliance Team are here to help you settle in and support you throughout your time at Leeds Beckett.
If you have any questions about visa extensions, family visits, police registration, immigration status or working in the UK you can email the team to get further help.
We offer support for students with a range of disabilities and long-term conditions, such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, mental health conditions, autism and physical or sensory problems.

Our Student Money Team administer hardship funds and US/Canadian loans.
Our money advisors provide confidential advice about student funding and can help you with general advice about budgeting, debt and welfare benefits.

Our University has two libraries on campus plus 24/7 support by phone and chat, every day of the year.
Staff can help you access the university systems you need to use and the resources for your course.
There is a “What device to buy” page if you need help selecting a computer for university. You can also access the full Office 365 suite once you’ve enrolled for your course.

You can enhance your academic skills through our Skills for Learning website and free workshops.
These include developing your academic communication, maths, critical thinking, time management and digital skills.
We also offer support with English as an additional language.

Our team of friendly Leeds Beckett graduates are on-hand to support all new international students.
We have the Officers working across the schools so make sure you find out which one is allocated to your school so you can meet with them if you have any issues.
They will be hosting social events and informations sessions throughout the year.
Our Careers team is here to help you with all aspects of your career planning and preparation, including finding your ideal career and applying for jobs.
This includes exploring career options available to you, writing CVs and applications, interview skills and developing your online presence.
You can access workshops, hundreds of online career resources and vacancies targeted at Leeds Beckett students. You can also book online appointments throughout your time at Leeds Beckett and for up to five years after you graduate.
