Open day for postgraduate study at Leeds Beckett
The open day will take place at both the University’s city centre and Headingley campuses and will run from 12 to 2pm and from 4.30 to 7pm. The event will be split across the two campuses according to each course’s location base.
Throughout the evening, there will be the opportunity to find out more about life at Leeds Beckett, attend campus tours and experience a range of course taster sessions, lectures and specialist facility tours.
Visitors can meet teaching teams of all postgraduate and professional courses at the University as well as staff who can offer specialist advice around funding and the application process.

Jenni Rishworth, Training Coordinator for the Rugby World Cup 2015 and Leeds Beckett MSc Sports Events Management graduate, said: “When I was searching for a postgraduate degree, Leeds Beckett really stood out because the course was so specific and focused. The modules were a great mixture of classroom learning and practical experience – I even had the opportunity to spend four months as an intern at the London 2012 Olympics, something I could never have done if I hadn’t come to study here.”
Helen King, Student Marketing Team Manager at Leeds Beckett, added: “Postgraduate study at Leeds Beckett is very flexible with courses running full-time, part-time or online to suit the needs of our students. The open day aims to help people to plan their next steps, whether they want to progress their career, change to a new area of work or simply follow a personal interest.”
