Leeds Beckett University announces line-up for Leeds School of Arts End of Year Shows 2023
The shows include work created by Level 6 and postgraduate students in the Art and Design, Fashion, Architecture, Creative Technologies, Film, Music and Sound, and Performing Arts subjects.
- The events start with COLLIDE23, a Degree Showcase from the Creative Technologies subject group, including 3D environments, animation, video games, and documentaries. The showcase is set for Thursday 25 May, 17:00-20:00, at Leeds School of Arts, and is open to all.
- On the same day, BSc (Hons) Digital Journalism students are hosting ‘Three’s a crowd’, a unique end of year show celebrating a decade of accomplishments from students, academics, and graduates of the course. Digital journalism enthusiasts are welcome to attend on Thursday 25 May, 17:30-19:00, in the Leeds School of Arts cinema.
- Fashion students will present their final collections at the RUN catwalk show on Thursday 1 June, where key national industry names will present four exciting prizes to students showcasing their work. The RUN catwalk show closes a city-wide programme of fashion events in partnership with LEEDS 2023 and is a key diary date for those interested in the industry.
- The End of Year Shows come to a close with an Art, Architecture and Design private viewing on Friday 2 June, 18:30-20:00 in the Broadcasting Place. The work on display will remain in situ the following weekend, Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 June, and will be open to the public between 10:00 and 16:00.
