Students love Leeds Beckett: university achieves best-ever National Student Survey results
Up 2.5% from last year, student satisfaction has increased across all seven areas of the survey and now stands at a positivity score of 86.7% (above the England average of 85.3%). Leeds Beckett also scored above the national average in six of the seven question categories, highlighting the university's continued focus on supporting students to succeed.
The results, published by the Office for Students, place Leeds Beckett 23rd among English universities, a significant rise from 36th last year. And based on percentile rankings, the university has climbed from 85th in 2014 to 18th in 2026 - its highest position on record.
Professor Peter Slee, Vice Chancellor of Leeds Beckett University, says:
“This is a wonderful outcome. It means we are continuing to improve our service to our students year after year. And it is an outcome to which everyone in our LBU community has made a significant and important contribution.”These results follow Leeds Beckett's success in the UniCompare 2027 results, where the university was ranked 2nd overall in England, 7th for Student Life, 8th for Employability, and 9th for Course Quality.
Tens of thousands of real student reviews determine the yearly rankings, which are based on the things students care about the most.
