Psychological health and wellbeing among athletes, coaches, and practitioners
This project will make an important first step in achieving healthier sport environments by better understanding wellbeing among those who are working at the front lines of sport.
Psychological wellbeing (PWB) has important ramifications for health and performance, especially within the high-pressure context of elite sport. Despite this compelling knowledge, little is known about PWB among athletes, coaches, and support staff, or how these individuals work together to maintain health and performance.
The project will involve qualitative interviews with high performance athletes, coaches, and support staff.
Details relating to impact will be added following project completion (July 2021)
Outputs and recognition
