The LBU Global Award is presented in partnership with our esteemed university partner Noble Solutions. We aim to reduce barriers to a UK education by providing comprehensive support to successful postgraduate applicants to one of the following courses:


Recipients will receive a full tuition fee waiver for their chosen postgraduate course. The award will also cover university accommodation, return flights to and from the UK, and an additional stipend of £3,000 to cover living expenses.

The LBU Global Award is a testament to our commitment to inclusivity and accessibility in education, aiming to empower talented individuals from all backgrounds to pursue and excel in their postgraduate studies.

Terms & Conditions

To be eligible for the LBU Global Award you must:

  • Be an Indonesian citizen or holding Indonesian citizenship, reside in Indonesia.
  • Be an international student (classified as an overseas fee payer)
  • Be studying the relevant course full time
  • Studying postgraduate for the first time
  • Have received a conditional or unconditional offer

You must also complete an application which will be assessed by our university partner based in your country.

Please note: students who receive the LBU Global Award scholarship will not be eligible to receive the International Student Scholarship worth between £1,000 - £3,000. The higher-value scholarship takes precedence over the lower-value scholarship.

Applications are open until 30 April 2026

Applications for the LBU Global Award must be submitted through the online form. As part of the application, you will be asked to submit a short video explaining why you should receive the scholarship.

The video should be 2 minutes or less, and include:

  • Why do you want to study in the UK?
  • Why do you want to study a course at Leeds Beckett? 
  • What does this scholarship mean to you, and how will it help you achieve your goals?

Applications will be assessed by the Leeds Beckett University partner. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to a panel interview.

You will not be eligible for the scholarship if any of the following apply to you;

  • Courses or schemes where particular rates or payment arrangements exist (such as those relating to Franchise / Overseas / Partner Based delivery or any other special arrangement)
  • Part time students
  • Any repeat year
  • Any year where the student is out on placement
  • Students on Distance Learning courses
  • Those studying PGDip or PGCert programmes
  • Those studying LLM Legal Practice course
  • Those studying Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA), Doctor of Education (EdD), or Research By Published Works.

To be eligible for the LBU Global Award you must:

  • Be assessed as having an 'Overseas or EU' residency status
  • Be assessed to pay the overseas fee
  • Be studying the relevant course full time
  • Be actively enrolled on one of the eligible courses listed above
  • Be a self-funded student, who is paying the full course fee for that year (those students who have their tuition fees paid by a third-party sponsor, employer or government agency will not be eligible)
  • Studying that level of the course for the first time (i.e. not repeating any level during that year)

You must also complete an application which will be assessed by our university partner based in your country.
