Politics and International Relations
Are you driven to make the world a fairer, more equal place? The journey starts here. Get a clearer view of the world today, and the many ways that it can be seen differently. You'll discover how decisions re-shape the world at a local and global level, and investigate a variety of theories, themes and concepts.
your student experience
To challenge how the world works, we first need to challenge how we think. You'll be part of a student community that isn't afraid to ask hard questions, or reflect on their biases and politics. You'll receive support from your community throughout your studies, and you'll be able to put your skills into action in placements in many different fields.
Studying international relations will give you knowledge of how states, international organisations and non-state actors interact on the global stage.
What can I do with a politics degree?
Studying politics will give you insights into how the world works. How freedom is a complicated idea and why violence is often a response to conflict. How decisions are made and whose interests are met.
Your Teaching experience
You'll work with our teachers to examine how relationships between different organisations affect our collective future. Our experience is diverse - from the local to the global - and we've applied our knowledge to impactful research and teaching. Our team has an emphasis on practical and innovative teaching, and powerful collaboration.
