Sports Scholarships

We have been supporting our students to reach their potential through the Carnegie Sports Scholarships Scheme since 2002.

Current scholar Alex Yee holds the second fastest UK Park Run time and claimed gold in the ITU Triathlon World Cup event in Cape Town. Alex leads an established list of Leeds Beckett scholars that includes alumni athletes such as Great Britain triathlete Georgia Taylor-Brown, who finished third in the 2018 Triathlon ITU World Series (2015) and Team GB Olympians race walker Tom Bosworth (2013) and 1.500 metre runner Laura Weightman (2013).
