About Jenni Taylor

Jenni graduated from Leeds Beckett University (then Leeds Metropolitan University) with LLB (Hons) and went straight into a paralegal role at Irwin Mitchell Solicitors in Leeds whilst studying the Legal Practice Course part time at the weekend. Jenni qualified as a solicitor and specialised in Commercial Property and Real Estate before moving into academia at Northumbria University in Newcastle. 

As an academic Jenni has continued to specialise in property and is responsible for teaching land law and equity on the undergraduate programmes and GDL alongside the practice of property law and legal skills at postgraduate and professional level. 

At Leeds Beckett University Jenni is a Course Director for Undergraduate and Vocational. Jenni has responsibility for the Law With Courses, the Chartered Institute of Legal Executive (CILEx) modules and courses, Apprenticeships and Employability. 

Jenni’s research interests centre around the use of technology in legal practice and teaching and learning activities that will support students and graduates into the technology enhanced workplace. Jenni is currently developing a Law Tech module for undergraduate students.
