Jo Griffiths is Head of Funding Support and Knowledge Transfer Partnerships within the Research and Enterprise Service. She oversees a dedicated team responsible for providing expert support and guidance for research and knowledge exchange initiatives throughout the institution.
With a wealth of experience, Jo has actively contributed to a variety of projects funded by organisations including the UK government, the European Union, and private entities, both in the UK and Europe. Her expertise lies in fostering collaborative efforts between academia and the private as well as public sectors.
Jo's proficiency extends to all stages of project development, from initial scoping and conceptualisation to securing funding and successful project delivery. Notably, she has played a pivotal role in managing and executing complex externally-funded projects, including those supported by Innovate UK, particularly focusing on Knowledge Transfer Partnerships with UK businesses.
Drawing from her diverse professional background, Jo brings a unique perspective shaped by her previous roles in Further and Higher Education, public sector organisations, charities and private sector entities.
