International society success for graphic design students
Two Leeds Beckett students have received recognition from the prestigious International Society of Typographic Designers (ISTD) for their outstanding work.
The International Society of Typographic Designers (ISTD) promotes worldwide excellence in the use of typography. This highly prestigious accreditation scheme celebrates the very best of student work, the process is rigorous and the standards are exceptionally high. We are therefore delighted to have achieved accreditation for two of our students, Esther Barber and Emily Appleton from our BA (Hons) Graphic Arts & Design course (Now BA (Hons) Graphic Design).
Esther Barber
Esther’s project explored the lost endings of fairy tales and was credited by the assessors as having submitted ‘a vibrant piece of typographic endeavour’.
Emily Appleton
Emily explored the depths of being lost in thought and was credited with having produced a ‘very good portfolio piece’.
