Artificial intelligence (AI) is changing how organisations make decisions, operate, and evolve. On MSc Management and AI, you'll learn how to navigate these changes and make informed decisions where technology and human judgement meet.
This master's degree provides a grounding in management, strategy, and behavioural decision science, alongside the digital literacy to evaluate when, how, and why AI should be used. You'll explore how AI can augment human capabilities, reshape organisational roles, and influence strategic choices. You'll also develop the judgement to challenge technological assumptions and take responsibility for decisions in an increasingly AI-enabled world, as you build your understanding of responsible AI governance.
Throughout your course, you'll learn to assess AI-generated insights, recognise the limits of automation, and consider the ethical and organisational implications of intelligent systems.
As part of this MSc management degree, you'll:
A master's in management and AI builds your confidence to question algorithmic outputs, manage uncertainty, and use evidence to inform your judgement. You'll gain the strategic perspective to contribute to digital transformation and lead responsibly in organisations increasingly shaped by AI.
Put theory into practice
You'll learn through a variety of case study analysis, simulations, workshops, collaborative exercises, and applied projects. Your assessments are designed to mirror real management tasks, including decision briefs, consultancy reports, and AI impact assessments, putting your knowledge into action on modern business challenges.
Build your digital confidence
No previous programming or advanced technical experience is required to study MSc Management and AI, although an interest in how intelligent and emerging technologies are shaping organisations will be valuable. You'll progressively develop your digital and analytical capabilities through guided workshops, laboratory activities, and applied organisational cases.
Bridge technology and leadership
Develop the ability to work across technical and management teams, translating AI capabilities into organisational priorities. You'll explore how AI reshapes leadership, organisational structures, professional roles, and the relationship between people and technology.
On this course, you'll also learn to lead AI-enabled change, build trust in intelligent systems, and ensure that technological innovation creates meaningful organisational value. You'll consider how intelligent systems can support strategy while keeping human judgement at the heart of your leadership.
Broaden your perspective
Your cohort on this MSc management and artificial intelligence degree will bring diverse experiences, backgrounds, and professional contexts to the classroom. You'll share ideas, challenge perspectives, and collaborate on complex questions surrounding AI, management, ethics, and organisational change.
Showcase your expertise
You can tailor your learning to your interests and career ambitions through choices around assessment topics, research focus, and case selection. For your dissertation or consultancy project, you'll complete a substantial piece of independent work, bringing management and AI together to develop evidence-based recommendations.
