On this Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS)-accredited degree, you'll develop the commercial expertise and industry insight to thrive in a fast-moving global sector. From the first day, you’ll explore how projects are planned, priced, and delivered, building knowledge across construction technology, law, contracts, economics, and project management.

Our tutors also bring substantial and diverse industry experience, having worked as professional contractors and quantity surveyors.

You’ll learn using industry-standard tools and software, including QS Pro, while developing expertise in Building Information Modelling (BIM), a key skill in modern construction.

Insightful site visits
Step onto live construction sites and see your future career in action. You'll visit a range of active developments, exploring how projects evolve from concept to completion. Previous visits have included major city-centre developments such as the Victoria Leeds shopping destination – giving you real insight into the scale and complexity of modern construction.
