Can you make the difference?

Leeds Beckett University are investing in the built environment area to enhance their provision and student support. The Surveying, Construction and Project Management subject group within the School covers areas of Architectural Technology, Building Surveying, Construction Management, Project Management, Real Estate and Quantity Surveying at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. It offers a wide range of courses from full time to Degree Apprenticeships.

We also have a wide range of research in the built environment area as well as close links with the Leeds Sustainability Institute who teach on the courses and work on our research projects.

The diverse nature of the courses on the group is also reflected in the staffing within the subject. We have members of staff from across the world and at all levels of their academic career. We welcome applicants of different backgrounds as well as from academia and industry. During the pandemic several members of staff started with us from academia and industry and they have now become part of an effective team. Working at Leeds Beckett

Leeds Beckett is an award winning, dual campus University with sites both in City and at Headingley campus. All roles will have elements of face to face teaching delivery, and alongside our flexible working policy, we are proud to be able to support our colleagues to establish a healthy work/life balance. We use primarily Microsoft tooling to enable communications through MS Teams and Skype. As an institution we are considering the wider remit of hybrid ways of working for longer term adoption.

All roles have 38 days annual leave. Roles will accrue the usual benefits including pension contributions, bank holidays arrangements, flexible working, and many more.
