How does architecture and the built environment shape the world we live in? At Leeds School of Architecture, we explore research, interdisciplinary work and different modes of practice to tackle our current environment, social and ethical challenges.
From the South Bank to Leeds City Village, there's a lot changing in this thriving city. You'll learn from experienced practitioners and get a strong grounding in what it means to create great architecture. You'll get to visit events, lectures and conferences showcasing excellent work from around the world. And you'll be connected to people working in all sorts of related industries, from interior and environmental design to project management and more.
Our architecture studios enable students to put theory into practice. Our facilities include workshops, computer-modelling software, drawing desks and more. You’ll also have access to our landscape resource centre, with bio-diverse wildlife habitats and experimental gardens. Gain valuable experience in planting design, ecology, environmental art and construction.
