The School of Events, Tourism and Hospitality Management recently published their inaugural Sharing Information on Progress (SIP) report for PRME. Supported by the United Nations Global Compact, PRME’s mission is to inspire and champion responsible management education, research and thought leadership globally.

Commenting on the progress of the School, the Dean, Professor Rhodri Thomas noted:

Our vision is to be a world-class School and this report reflects this aspiration. We work tirelessly to build an environment where our internationally leading scholars stimulate an academic culture that is curious, critical, relevant, and intellectually stretching. We invest in activities that improve the learning opportunities we create for students and strengthen our commitment to PRME”.

Head of UK Centre for Events Management and Lead author, Dr James Musgrave stated:

Producing this report has been a privilege. I have been inspired by colleagues, students and stakeholders and the wide range of activities that support PRME within our School. Collectively we are committed to the 6 principles of PRME and look forward to strengthening our approach to responsible education in the future.
