  'Sexual Taboos and Holocaust Testimony from 1945 to the present'

"My research project looks at how taboo topics such as sexual violence, prostitution, homosexuality, and menstruation have been included or excluded from survivor testimonies of the Holocaust. I examine multiple testimonies from the same survivor to consider the differences in how they speak about their experiences and whether they add or remove taboo topics from their testimony over time. In addition to this, my project looks at how methods of giving testimony have changed since 1945 and whether this has had an impact on the content of testimonies."
