About Andy Lima

Andy Lima is a business entrepreneur and academic with a broad range of experience in business creation, lecturing, researching and consultancy work in relation to working with both SMEs and large corporations. Andy’s work focus on supporting businesses and new ventures as well as developing improvements to existing business models. Through research and consultancy his main goals are enabling businesses to become competitive through the planning and implementation of a fully integrated Digital Strategy. He has set-up a number of businesses from printing and graphic designing company through to other business including a full digital marketing agency, where he managed and directed the delivery of marketing solutions and digital marketing, on-line branding, social media and inbound marketing.

Andy's role at the university involves training and teaching Entrepreneurship, Digital Marketing, Corporate Management and Innovation to both undergraduate and postgraduate level as well as delivering a range of research and consultancy projects for Leeds Beckett commercial clients; he is also an Entrepreneur in Residence supporting SMEs.

Andy is an CIM affiliate member and a fellow of the Centre for Governance Leadership and Global Responsibility.

Andy's research interest is in Digital technologies, urban developments and sustainable consumption, sensory marketing, Digital entrepreneurship and business enterprise.
