Celebrating our graduating students

Due to the pandemic we have been unable to hold in-person graduation ceremonies over the last two years so this year the ceremony was even more special for our academic staff, graduates, family and friends. It gave us all an opportunity to come together and celebrate the wonderful achievements of our graduates.

Celebrating the success of our students: Graduation ceremony 2022

Following our graduation ceremony the School of Events, Tourism and Hospitality Management held an event to present the 2022 Dean’s Awards for Outstanding Achievement.  The recipients of these awards were as follows:

Undergraduate Studies in Events Management - Katy Gross. She was also listed and highly commended for the national Association for Event Management (AEME) Outstanding Student of the Year

Undergraduate Studies in Tourism Management - Casey Bell

Undergraduate Studies in Hospitality Management - Fatoumata Mbaye

Postgraduate Studies in Events Management - Lucy Dennant

Postgraduate Studies in Tourism Management - Hannah Kellett 

Postgraduate Studies in Hospitality Management - Alannah Kelly

The following students were also presented with a gift from the School in recognition of their winning the following national awards:

AEME Most Creative Events Management Student of the Year - Beatrice Lobato Castilla

AEME Most Inspirational student of the year – Sasha Green

Both students are BA Hons Events Management students
