As a registered nurse or other qualified healthcare professional, you’re already making a difference. This campus-based health and community care top-up course takes your impact further, building on your existing qualification as you progress to a full BSc (Hons) degree.
You’ll deepen your academic, professional, and clinical knowledge, while gaining the confidence to thrive in complex and rapidly evolving healthcare environments. You’ll expand what you know, while transforming how you think, act, and lead in practice.

With teaching typically scheduled across one day each week, and flexible delivery across modules, you can balance your studies alongside professional commitments. Through in-person sessions, online learning, or independent study, you’ll a greater choice of study styles to learn in a way that works for you.

This programme is an academic top-up degree for registered nurses and qualified health professionals who already hold a relevant diploma or equivalent qualification. It does not in itself lead to registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). International nurses who wish to practise in the UK must apply separately for NMC registration.
