*The results of the election process are subject to final ratification by the Academic Board at its meeting scheduled for 01 July, 2026.
Following the closure of nominations for Professional Services Staff Dr Aidan Enright, Research Administrative Officer from the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, has been elected unopposed to the membership of Academic Board.
Congratulations to Aidan, who will take his place on the membership from 01 September 2026.
Following the closure of nominations for Academic Staff two colleagues have been appointed to the membership of Academic Board:
- Dr Adalberto Arrigoni, Senior Lecturer and Subject Group Research Lead (Leeds Business School)
- Professor James Woodall, Head of Subject, Social & Community Studies (School of Health)
Congratulations to Adalberto and James, who will take their places on the membership from 01 September 2026.
Election of two Course Directors to the membership of Academic Board.
The poll closed on 10 June 2026 and the votes counted.
37 votes were cast out of a constituency of 101 (36% return).
At Stage 4 of the count, two candidates reached the threshold and were elected:
- Dr Pip Trevorrow
- Hadi Kazemi
The other four candidates did not reach the threshold or were eliminated in earlier stages:
- Dr Craig Stott, Dr Wayne Roberts, Dr Pooneh Bagheri-Zadeh and Sujana Shafique
I can confirm that the winning candidates are Dr Pip Trevorrow and Hadi Kazemi, with a term of office from 01 September 2026 until 31 August 2029.
The result of the election will be reported and ratified by the Academic Board at its meeting on 01 July 2026.
