Studying Real Estate and Property Management

Having family connections in construction, I have had an interest in real estate for a long time. I originally wanted to become an electrician, but felt that I wanted something a bit more academically challenging.

I found the Leeds Beckett course catalogue really easy to navigate and I liked the breakdown of the three years on the website which made the idea of going to university a lot less daunting. I think my course strikes a really good balance between academic work and practical work, too.

How will The Landsec Scholarship help?

As Real Estate and Property Management is something I have never studied prior to my university experience, I feel as though the practical skills from an industry professional will allow me to be more prepared when I apply for a job in the field after university.

With the support from the Landsec BSc Real Estate and Property Management Scholarship I'll be able to full support myself at university. I'll not only be able to buy up to date equipment, but I also want to be able to attend site visits and maybe even complete a placement year to improve my understanding of the industry.
