Practice learning evaluation
All work-based placements and practice learning should be subject to effective monitoring and evaluation. Academic course teams will monitor and review the effectiveness of their procedures for securing placements, as well as the placements themselves.
Academic course teams must formulate procedures for:
- Audit of the learning experience of practice learning
- Gaining feedback from work-based/placement supervisors and students on progress and concerns
- Reviewing the progress of students at various points throughout the placement
- Evaluation of practice learning experience
All practice learning opportunities for the Leeds Beckett University School of Health are quality assured in accordance with the quality standards advised by the appropriate professional, statutory & regulatory bodies.
