Danielle Millea

Danielle Millea is a film school support member of staff and PhD candidate at Leeds Beckett University in the Leeds School of Arts. Her research project is a study of 360° video as a learning tool for filmmaking. This practice-based approach comprises of years of content collected from filmmaking classes, workshops and film sets, testing various 360° cameras and sound recorders, the aim being to create immersive learning materials for the practical field of filmmaking. These materials combine 360° video, 2D footage, graphics, text and audio. The results form part of the learning hub www.filmschool360.com, a free resource for those looking to learn filmmaking skills online.
