Updating your contact details

Moved House? Changed your email address or phone number? Here's how to let us know.

It’s important to keep your contact details up to date. Although the majority of communication will be sent to your student email, sometimes we’ll need to send you communication via other methods. Examples of this could be to send you information about Graduation or to post your degree certificate.

To update your contact details, such as your postal address or email, log in to Online Welcome and and select ‘Update my contact details’.

To change your name on our university systems, you will need to contact your course administrator. If you need to access further support with regards to a name change, you can contact Student Advice at:

Not necessarily. Your term-time address is where you are staying during your studies, for example, halls of residence. Your permanent address is where you stay when you’re not studying, for example, family home. For some of our students, their term-time address and permanent address are the same. If you have moved away from home to study at Leeds Beckett, your term-time and permanent addresses will differ.
