The Multi-Faith Service supports students and colleagues in exploring, practising and expressing their faith or belief while studying and working at the University. Through partnerships with local communities, student groups and colleagues across the University, we create opportunities for connection, foster understanding, and promote wellbeing.

The multi-faith spaces are available to all students and colleagues, regardless of faith, belief or non-belief background. Everyone is expected to use the spaces respectfully and in accordance with the user guidelines.

The spaces are generally available for individual prayer, reflection and quiet contemplation without booking. Larger activities or group events require advance arrangements. Students can book the rooms through the Student Union, while university staff can book the spaces through the Staff Timetabling page.

Yes. Facilities for ablution(wudu) are available at both the City Campus and Headingley Campus faith spaces. For information about the location of these facilities and how to access them, please visit the relevant Faith Spaces pages: Faith Spaces at City Campus and Faith Spaces at Headingley Campus

Yes. Leeds Beckett Students' Union supports a number of faith-based student societies. Details can be found on our Faith Communities page or through the Students' Union website.

Yes. If there is not currently a student society representing your faith or belief, you may be able to establish a new society through Leeds Beckett Students' Union. To establish a new faith-based society, students must meet the Students' Union requirements, including demonstrating sufficient student interest. As a guide, this may include a minimum number of students who identify with the faith or belief group.
