Planning a well designed course requires consideration of the structure, assessment and the resources needed to deliver it.
A well planned course needs to be aligned to meet all the course and level learning outcomes. The learning activities and assessments should always support the students to learn and demonstrate their ability to meet the learning outcomes. A well planned course supports students through clear criteria and scheduling. This clear structure allows for a more inclusive course, as students can see what they are expected to do and when they have to do it.
