Well done! We really liked your application and we want to find out more about you.

Depending on the course you applied for, you are now invited to either attend an interview or audition, or submit a portfolio online.

Here’s what you need to do next:

  • Click on your course’s subject area from the list below
  • Find your course (for courses with interview dates, select the date you were given in your UCAS email)
  • Click to download the PDF
  • Give this a careful read, it will tell you when and where your interview/audition is taking place, or provide you with an online link to submit your portfolio

Just to let you know, where a course requires you to come to an interview or audition, we can’t accept a portfolio alone as an alternative form of assessment. The courses where you only need to submit a portfolio are BA (Hons) Filmmaking, and BA (Hons) Journalism.

Portfolio for International Application

Please could students provide the following for audition for the BA (Hons) Performing Arts or BA (Hons) Theatre and Performance programmes:

  • You are asked to prepare and perform a two minute monologue to camera.  This monologue should be selected from a contemporary play/text
  • When recording your monologue think about how you will record the work – are you speaking directly to the camera, are we looking in on a ‘scene’?  You may also wish to think about the space in which you film
  • Make sure to tell us at the end or beginning of your film – what play/text you have chosen and the character
