Accessing modules and communities

Self enrol on a module or course community - if you do not know the module CRN please speak to your course administrator.

Search module catalogue

The Module Catalogue is available to search by the module name and is useful to ascertain if a module is merged (cross-listed).

When a module is merged the linked (child) modules are no longer visible to staff.  Using the Module Catalogue may help you find the main (parent) module so you can self-enrol onto it as you will not be able to enrol on the child.

Module Catalogue accessed via MyBeckett Modules page top-right corner.

To search the catalogue

a. Go to MyBeckett Modules

b. Module Catalogue (top right of modules page)

c. Type the module name in the Search bar - no need to change the filters

d. Look in the Description field for the information: Merged with [...CRN]

e. Copy the parent CRN to self-enrol via the All Staff Community
