Sabilla Mazaya - BSc (Hons) Creative Media Technology, 2014
Sabilla’s interest and passion for advertising and media industry was sparked during primary school, where her favourite subject was art. This passion, and her love of art, drew her to the BSc Creative Media Technology course at Leeds Beckett, as it combines art, new media and project management.

Sabilla’s interest and passion for advertising and media industry was sparked during primary school, where her favourite subject was art. This passion, and her love of art, drew her to the BSc Creative Media Technology course at Leeds Beckett, as it combines art, new media and project management.
Sabilla is now Trade Show Executive at Wilmar International in Singapore. She says: “Joining Leeds Beckett was a memorable experience, as I was able to network internationally and gain hands-on learning opportunities during my studies. The lecturers were very supportive and professionals in their field.
“I am again being exposed to a diverse environment, as Singapore is an international hub where a number of multinational companies are based. My experience as a student at Leeds Beckett University made me professionally prepared, hence my career escalated well in the international scale.”
During her studies, Sabilla was also an international student ambassador. She explains: “This brought me to a new experience as I learnt more about the university and made friends outside of my course. I really enjoyed sharing my own experience as a student and I was also involved in many activities to enhance my soft skills.”
After graduation, she worked for advertising agencies as a Junior Art Director in her home country, Indonesia. Sabilla then moved to Singapore to take on her current role.
