Transport and parking

Getting around Leeds is easy. With excellent public transport, cycling and walking facilities, Leeds Beckett University is well connected.

Our City Campus buildings are all within easy walking distance of Leeds Train Station. Headingley Campus has a bus stop on campus which provides a free shuttle bus to City Campus and only 3 miles out of the city centre. Frequent bus services connect all our halls of residences and popular student areas to our City and Headingley Campuses.

Getting around the city

Leeds is easy to navigate on foot, and the city’s strong public transport network means that you don’t need your own car to get around.

City Campus buildings are between two and 14 minutes’ walk from Leeds station, and from Headingley train station, you could walk to Headingley Campus in 15 minutes, Carnegie Pavilion in 12 minutes and Headingley Stand in eight minutes.

You can hire a bike from the us to get around while you're at Leeds Beckett.

Bike hire contracts are for up to three months at a time. If you need the bike for longer you simply renew your contract online via the link we send out to you. The cost is £50 for the first hire period plus £50 deposit. If you decide to renew your contract, it costs £15 for each three month hire period after your initial one. You can usually keep your bike into the summer until we need them back for maintenance.
