Transport and parking

Getting around Leeds is easy. With excellent public transport, cycling and walking facilities, Leeds Beckett University is well connected.

Our City Campus buildings are all within easy walking distance of Leeds City Rail Station. Headingley Campus has a bus stop on campus and is just 3 miles out of the city centre. Frequent bus services connect all our halls of residences and popular student areas to our City and Headingley Campuses.

Getting around the city

Leeds is easy to navigate on foot, and the city’s strong public transport network means that you don’t need your own car to get around.

City Campus buildings are between two and 14 minutes’ walk from Leeds station, and from Headingley train station, you could walk to Headingley Campus in 15 minutes, Carnegie Pavilion in 12 minutes and Headingley Stand in eight minutes.

Cycling is the perfect way to get around Leeds! The city has many keen cyclists, as well as Yorkshire being home to the Tour de Yorkshire.

You could hire a bike for just £35 per semester and £50 per year (plus £100 returnable deposit). We have great facilities at both campuses for cyclists, including our bike hub where you will be able to access cycle skills workshops and maintenance training, secure cycle parking, showers and lockers.
