Transport and parking
Getting around Leeds is easy. With excellent public transport, cycling and walking facilities, Leeds Beckett University is well connected.
Getting around the city
Leeds is easy to navigate on foot, and the city’s strong public transport network means that you don’t need your own car to get around.
City Campus buildings are between two and 14 minutes’ walk from Leeds station, and from Headingley train station, you could walk to Headingley Campus in 15 minutes, Carnegie Pavilion in 12 minutes and Headingley Stand in eight minutes.
You can hire a bike from the us to get around while you're at Leeds Beckett.
Bike hire contracts are for up to three months at a time. If you need the bike for longer you simply renew your contract online via the link we send out to you. The cost is £50 for the first hire period plus £50 deposit. If you decide to renew your contract for another three months the cost is £20 and the final three months is £10. You can usually keep your bike into the summer until we need them back for maintenance.
Leeds has fantastic bus routes not only around the city, but further beyond too. You can hop on the 36 and be in Harrogate in no time - perfect if you're on a budget too! First Buses have a very useful app which makes getting around simple, and you don't need to worry about change.
It’s also just a short bus ride between our two campuses, and you can download the bus timetables below.
