If you're paying your rent in instalments then you'll need to ask someone to be a guarantor. This is the person who will be responsible for your payments if you can't make them.

Your guarantor is usually a parent, guardian or family relation. If you can't pay your rent or any other money you owe, then we will write to your guarantor to ask them to pay it on your behalf.

When you accept your licence agreement, you'll be asked to provide your guarantor's contact details. Make sure you ask their permission first and let them know we'll be emailing them.

We will send them a User ID and password so they can log in securely to provide more information and give their consent.

If you want to pay for all your yearly rent up front then you don't need a guarantor.
