Studying Civil Engineering

I grew up in Sudan, and developed a keen interest in civil engineering as young child, shadowing my father at work. Since that time civil engineering has been my passion and my principal goal is to become a chartered civil engineer.

I attended one of the open days and the recommendation that I got from the teachers, advisors and alumni really influenced me to enrol. I was really impressed by Leeds Beckett's academic reputation and ranking in my chosen field as well as its strong track record of graduates finding employment. Moreover, the university's location in Leeds it is close to potential internship and job opportunities. I also love the city!;
