Studying Computer Science

The decision to study computer science was not made by chance, but rather as a result of life experiences and a growing interest in technology. I was always fascinated by computers and their seemingly infinite possibilities as a child.

However, entering a field such as computer science as a woman presents its own set of hurdles. This gender disparity was most noticeable when I joined my secondary school's Robotics club. This lack of representation made me feel alone and even uncomfortable, as I felt I had to constantly prove myself in a male-dominated environment. These difficulties have only fuelled my determination to pursue a career in computer science, overcome prejudices, and encourage gender diversity. I want to be a role model and show that women can excel in this industry.

Working on Artificial Intelligence for medicinal reasons, utilising the power of AI to change healthcare, is one of my career ambitions. I want to create AI-powered applications and systems that improve the accuracy of medical diagnostics and individualized treatment programs.

In addition, I hope to contribute to the advancement of astronomical science by developing computational products. I hope to create creative tools and software that will improve our understanding of the universe and open up new avenues for scientific discovery by harnessing computational methodologies.
