Overview
The cricket programme at the University is very strong, with opportunities for all standards, male and female. We have close links to Yorkshire County Cricket Club, where you can enjoy watching the professionals, and we also provide volunteering opportunities and coaching qualifications in cricket.
Athletic Union Cricket Club
We have three men’s and one women’s cricket teams for you to join and compete against other Universities. The women's and one of the men's teams are MCCU squads (more information below).
Training begins with indoor nets in October for all teams, with fixtures from April to June. Competitively, the club plays in BUCS, with the men’s first team in Premier North.
For more information regarding joining the club, please contact athleticunion@leedsbeckett.ac.uk.
