Residence life
Residence Life is all about making your time in halls positive, enjoyable and full of opportunities.
It’s the support, experiences and community you’ll be part of from the moment you accept your place until you move into your next home. Whether you’re settling in, meeting new people, exploring Leeds or planning your next steps, Residence Life is here to help you feel confident, connected and ready to make the most of university living.
Who are the Res Life Team?
The Residence Life Team are the friendly people you’ll see around halls and at events, always ready to help when you need them. They organise activities, answer questions, support wellbeing, help with any challenges that might come up in your flat, and generally make sure you never feel stuck or alone while living in university accommodation. They’re there to make life run smoothly behind the scenes - and to be a familiar, approachable face whenever you need a chat or a bit of support.
What is Life in Halls Like?
Life in halls is your chance to build your community, explore Leeds, try new things and grow in independence - all while having support close by. We shape the experience around five key themes: helping you feel prepared before you arrive, settled in your first few weeks, connected with your community, supported throughout the year, and empowered to take confident next steps after halls.
