Provide the right care at the right time

With a strong mix of cutting-edge learning and practical training, you'll develop the skills you need to provide expert care to the people that need it most.

Our courses are taught by experienced practitioners, and many are approved and monitored by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). You'll have the ideal foundation to progress to a career, or further research.

The courses we deliver reflect a vision of nursing and nurse education developed through discussion and engagement with our stakeholders. We pride ourselves on delivering education which places significant emphasis on the development of autonomous graduates, who are empowered to ask questions, challenge practice, interrogate evidence, identify solutions, and formulate conclusions to achieve the highest standards of practice. Our excellent relationship with our placement partners ensures students receive excellent theoretical and practice learning experiences.

your student experience

Nursing is a career that requires expertise as well as emotional resilience. You'll spend more than half of your time on practice placements in real healthcare settings, so you'll graduate with the confidence to step into a role. You'll also receive support when you need it from our staff and pastoral care team, as well as a diverse and dedicated student community.
