Library and Learning Services Key Data and Insights Reports
Our Key Data and Insights Reports present a School-specific view of services provided by Library and Learning Services. They provide insight into student and staff use of services and resources and highlight future priorities.
Information Resources
Library Services produces an annual Library Services produces an annual Information Resources Plan outlining how, in collaboration with the Schools, a relevant and accessible range of learning resources are acquired and made available to support the University’s teaching, learning and research.
Discover is our academic search engine which searches a wide variety of academic databases, books, eBooks, journals and other resources. If you are looking for a specific resource you can also search our A-Z list of databases or our A-Z list of journals.
Subject guides highlight subject-specific resources for students.
If resources are not available online, the Library's Digitisation Service can (subject to licensing) make chapters or articles available so you can link to them from MyBeckett. For more information, please see our guide Scanning print materials for use in MyBeckett.
The University has an online reading list system. It enables students to access an online list of recommended resources for their module which are accessible directly from MyBeckett, making it simpler for students to go directly to their resources.
All modules are required to have a reading list.
Lists can be managed from the relevant module page of MyBeckett. There is support available for editing your online reading lists or please contact your Academic Librarian team.
The following guides have been created to support you in diversifying your reading list content:
