Our Public Relations courses are professionally recognised by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) and Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA), and have prepared students for careers at Panasonic, Porsche, Arrive and the NHS.
Our Journalism course is accredited by the Broadcast Journalism Training Council (BJTC), and are designed for a variety of press careers, whether that's in national newspapers, regional press, television or radio.
You'll learn to be an adaptable and confident professional that's comfortable in our multi-platform world. Our Media Suite is the place to learn all the skills you'll need, from TV presenting and production to radio and news writing.

In 2015 Nick won the University's 'Achieving Excellence' Award for 'Team Leader of the Year' and he has also been short-listed for the TES 'most Innovative Teacher of the Year' award. Nick is also a University Teacher Fellow and Principal Lecturer.
Mark Badham is Senior Lecturer in Public Relations at Leeds Business School. His research interests centre around digital corporate communication and public relations. Mark worked as a public relations professional for governments, politicians, corporations and NGOs in Australia.
